This evening just after 2230 hours Swatara Fire & Rescue was alerted for a MVA with entrapment on Route 322 Near Penhar Dr. Engine 91-2 responded with 8 personnel and assisted at the scene. Evening Vehicle Fire

August 27

This evening Engine 91-2 and multiple other units from Swatara Fire & Rescue responded to the Red Roof Inn along Eisenhower Blvd for a reported vehicle fire. First arriving units found a pick up truck hauling construction equipment to be on fire. Crews remained on scene for an extended amount of time to mitigate fluid runoff with the assistance of the Dauphin County Hazmat Team.... (Full Story & Photos)

Air 91-2 Assists At House Fire

August 22

Air 91-2 responded to a house fire in Londonderry Township. While on scene filling SCBA cylinders and assisting on the fire ground, Firefighter Rick Marciniak provided assistance to the family on a whole different level.

Firefighter Marciniak, an avid animal lover, noticed that the family’s dog had perished in the fire and wanted to help the family give the dog a proper resting place.

Just before 0100 this morning, Chief 50 was returning from a previous incident and noticed smoke coming from a building in the first block of N Front St. Upon investigating fire was evident from the rear of the building on both the 2nd and 3rd floor. Working House Fire

July 01

Early this morning Swatara Fire & Rescue along with mutual aid units were alerted to the 300 block of N 71st Street for a house fire. Engine 91-5 arrived with fire showing form the roof.
